First time at a card show: what to expect

Attending your first card show can feel a little overwhelming, but it’s also an exciting experience packed with opportunities to explore, trade, and connect.

You’ll find a wide range of vendors at our cards shows (over 180 tables) offering everything from singles and sealed products to rare collectibles and accessories. Take your time browsing—no two tables are the same, and part of the fun is discovering hidden gems.

Don’t be afraid to chat with vendors or other attendees. The community is one of the best parts of card shows, and most people are happy to talk, answer questions, or even negotiate on prices.

We have activities, competitions, talks and a sit down area to trade with other vendors. Keep an eye out for those if you want to get more involved.

If you’re planning to buy or trade, it’s a good idea to set a budget and bring cash as well as card sleeves, top loaders or a binder to keep your purchases safe.

Most importantly, enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you’re a collector, player, or just curious, card shows are designed to be welcoming and fun for everyone.
